What is Infra-Red technology ?


 Infra-Red is an electromagnetic radiation, which is invisible in nature. It is invisible in nature because it has larger wavelength than the visible light, which is approximately in the ranges of 700nm to 1mm. As it has invisible nature but people can sense it in the form of heat. The Infra-Red light has frequency range from 430THz to 300THz,which is grater than the microwave & radio frequencies.

      History of Infra-Red radiation :

  The infrared radiation was discovered by William Herschel in 1800's . Herschel

Herschel used a prism to refract light from the sun and detected the infrared, beyond the red part of the spectrum, through an increase in the temperature recorded on a thermometer.Before bluetooth was invented the mobile phones were used Infra-Red technology to send files to other devices.

IR arudino based home automation system

     Working of this project is easily understandable. When we press any button of IR Remote then remote sends a code in form of train of encoded pulses using 38Khz modulating frequency. These pulses are received by TSOP1738 sensor and read by Arduino and then Arduino decodes received train of pulse into a hex value and compares that decoded value with the predefined hex value of the pressed button. If any match occurs then Arduino perform relative operation and the corresponding result indicated on LED . When we click the button from remote the LED glows,basically we can control home appliances from a remote by sitting on a single place . So it provide more comfort to the users .
     We have used toggle [EVEN ODD] method for ON and OFF the single home appliance. Toggle method is nothing but to get that whether the button is pressed even no of times or the odd no of times. This is found by getting the reminder after dividing it by 2 (i%2), if there is some reminder then device will be turned ON and if reminder is 0 then it will be turned OFF. Suppose Key 7 is pressed on the remote then remote sends a signal to Arduino through TSOP IR Receiver. Then Arduino decode it and store the decoded value into the results variable. Now results variable has a hex value 0x1FE00FF, after matching it with the predefined hex value of key 7 (see above image), Arduino turns ON the Fan. Now when we press the same key (key 7) again then IR sends the same code. Arduino gets same code and matched with same code like before but this time Fan turned OFF because of toggling the bit [EVEN ODD] (i%2).

Witricity something new about wireless energy transfer

  The amount of electricity we used in modern era is quite a large .In this modern era it is difficult to live without the electricity .We know that the electricity can pass from one place to another by using of conventional method that is with the help of the transmission line (wires). Anyone thought about that the electricity can transfer by wireless method yes I mean wireless , now we can transfer  electricity through wireless method using the technique name as the Witricity . The concept of witricity was introduced by the Nikola Tesla in late 1800’s . The Tesla contribution in this to this technique was really remarkable but he can’t spread this technique in worldwide .In year 2007 researchers at Massachusetts Institute of Technology discovered this technique of witricity more effectively, they transfer nearly 60w of power at about distant of 2 meter’s without using  any wires .

 


   Writicity is basically concept of wireless energy transfer from one place to another . The writicity works same as radio frequency transmitted from one place to the another .This technique based on the principle of transmitting the energy by using resonant objects which are coupled to each others . Writicity consisting of transmitter an receiving stations through which exchanging of electricity/power is possible by using of the resonant magnetic field . It is necessary that the frequency of both transmitting and receiving station should be same so that there is no effect on the surrounding frequencies. The transfer of energy is quite amazing in itself .         


                                                                                                                                                         
This technique will be very useful in the automatic wireless charging such as in charging of the laptops , mobiles  and other applications . The only disadvantages of this technique is that the power transmitted in only in few meters but hopefully our scientist will be overcome this slight problem .Due to the shorter distant the efficiency of writicity is quite less but as we increase the distant of energy transfer the efficiency will be increasing .Hopefully  this technique change the world in better manner, for make the life of people more comfort ..

This very threatening heart attack is not in our hand but we can defeat this heart attack by checking our heart regularly by the experts related with this job. So that an test is developed which is called as electrocardiography test which is basically check our heart pulse whether the heart pulse are working properly or not.
The electrocardiography test consisting of ECG machine which basically used the principle of converting the heart pulse into the  electric signal . The ECG machine sends an electric signal into our chest where the heart pulse are act like a resistance. The ECG machine note down the current across this heart pulse(resistance) and converted this pulse into the electric signal which is then seen on the screen or on the paper . If the signals are simple means not having in-off fluctuation then your heart is working nicely , you don't have think about any kind of heart attack . But if signal are not simple(complected) means having lots of variation then you should visit  to the doctor immediately !

The Fiber optic that change the course of telecommunication

           
                                                                                                                                                                   Fiber optic cable is cable that changing the course of telecommunication by generating the tremendous speed in telecommunication area. So that it save precious time of  human being that was required for the many  important  communication purpose. The fiber optic cable is generally made up of material which is very brittle in nature that is Glass (silica) , the purpose it been glass is that because glass is finest conductor means its the best conductor material of the traveling of  light signal and light signal are nothing but the electromagnetic signal.The main feature of light signal is that it is the fastest signal in this world ,that is  it having the velocity about 3*10to the power 8m/s . So the telecommunication via. fiber optic cable is much faster than the other cable that are useful for communication purpose .
        
                                                                                                                                                             The optic cable really was a revolution in telecommunication area that change the thinking of entire telecommunication world . When the fiber optic was launch the attenuation loss at that time was about 1000 db/km as compare to the normal coaxial cable it was much higher , the attenuation losses of coaxial cable is about 5 db/km. So the Scientist reduce this attenuation losses , now it is about 0.001 db/km and improve the efficiency quality of fiber optic cable .
As we know Fiber optic cable is made up of glass no doubt it will increase the speed of telecommunication process  but the nature of glass is that it is brittle in nature and it could be break . Also the joining of two optic cable is made up by melting the glass it is bit tricky to do .
It is most specifically used in Defense sector in Military, Air force, and also in Nevi for the communication purpose . In data acquisition of control system the need of optical fiber is most .
In various of aspect of human life speed matter for communication  and Fiber optic provide that speed .This highly class feature of optical fiber will give the comfort zone for the people wanting high speed communication in their day to day life .
